Power Issue turns violent
50 rounds of firing in City, 5 feared killed



          News has just come in that Police fired 50 rounds to disperse the agitating crowd at Basheerbagh who wanted to head towards the Assembly and were prevented by the police and the commotion there in resulted in the killing of 2 policemen and 3 protestors.

The exact number of people killed in the shoot out are said to be even more and one has to wait for the official announcement about the exact casualities.The incident has occurred at Basheerbagh were the congress legislators are on a indefinite fast since the last 10 days in demand for the Power tariffs to be rolled back.

The city is tensed and it has been reported that the police have imposed curfew at certain places. There is traffic jam at many parts of the city and ever since morning people have been stuck for hours. The agitators have believed to have burnt couple of vehicle in protest against the police firing .As of now the city seems to be under halt all over.
