Hyderabad: As a rare event,
the Management Consulting professionals and the
Management Professionals from industry, banking,
Government and public sector enterprises,
Non-Government Organizations and several other
services sector will converge for three days from
the 8th December to 10th December at Hotel Taj
Krishna to discuss the innovative and visionary
manner in which organizations are built to enjoy
sustainable competitive advantage and leadership,
suiting to the conference theme of "Vision,
Innovation and Initiative" and conference title of
"Challenges for the 21st Century Manager".
Management consultancy professionals have played a
key role in steering change in India in the last
decade. The Management Consulting professionals’
contribution in the whole of Asia Pacific in
overcoming impact of the Asian Crisis and helping
acceleration of economic growth in countries such
as Korea, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand,
Malaysia, Singapore and Sri Lanka have been
noteworthy. In India, Management Consultants have
helped State Governments, State enterprises,
private enterprises and NGOs to steer their
innovative roles in the changed economic
situation.
Over 200 management professionals from India,
Thailand, Bangladesh, UK, Africa and other
countries will discuss the functional and sectoral
strategies, processes and frameworks that can
bring about new paradigms in managing enterprises.
The inherent strengths that have contributed to

successful enterprises (such as Jet Airways) would
be presented and discussed.
The concurrent sessions articulate emerging

innovative and visionary enterprises to continue
to move on the growth path.
Institute of Management Consultants of India, the
apex body of the Management Consulting
professionals, convenes the conference. IMCI, with
its headguarters in the World Trade center at
Mumbai is the Indian organ of International
Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI),
the only body that provides competency recognition
to practicing management consutancy professionals.

Consultants (CMC) Dr. Barry Curnow, the Chair of
ICMCI, will provide the Conference keynote
address. Dr. Curnow, based in UK will also open up
the discussions relating to the competency
standards of Management consultants.
