Hyderabad: Six NGOs Viz. Oldage Welfare Centre & Oldage Welfare Trust, Miyapur; Helpage India, Hyderabad; Human Action for Rural Development, Chikkadpally; Ashreya Oldage Home; Hyderabad Zilla Mahila Mandalula Samakhya, Miyapur and OM Nivas(Welfare to the Needy), Miyapur celebrated the International Day for the Old Aged today. Mr. R. P. Singh, Commissioner of Police inaugurated the same. Speaking immediately after inaugurating the same, Mr. Singh said Love and happiness are essence of life. He heartily complemented over 1500 elders assembled on the occasion here at Shanti Sarovar recently.

Complementing the efforts of Mrs. M. Varalaxmi, Founder Secretary(Resident) of Oldage Welfare Centre, Mr. Singh said that he was confident that with the universal philosophy of Brahmakumaris, members of oldage welfare centre are leading a very happy and peaceful life.

Addressing the elders BK Santoshi Behn Zonal Incharge of AP Zone said that the elders need to spend their time move valuable by doing Meditation instead recollecting the past incidents, which add to their woes by causing more mental tension. And advised them to transform their lives more positively and useful to the society.
