Hyderabad, December, 2004: One of the City’s leading protrait photographers Mr. Anil of Linaarp’s photography recently conducted "Portrait Magic Show", a five day exhibition showcasing select portraits including prominent people of Hyderabad. All together more than 50 select portraits on various people including that of prominent citizens of Hyderabad were on at Linaarp’s photography , new road no.5, Opp Iranian Consulate, Banjara Hills. Many of the portraits weree unique in its design and conceptualisation and were termed as marvels of the professional photography.

Anil of Linaarp’s photography is one of the twin city’s leading portrait photographers, with a marvellous capacity for capturing the character and mood of his subjects. This retrospective display brought together a selection of more than 50 portraits to celebrate Anil’s 10 years as a professional photographer and to mark the expansion of his Studio. The exhibition primarily focusesed on people and their immediate family and friends. It was a unique exhibition of its kind ever taken up by any photographer in twin cities. And was a maiden effort of Linaarp’s photography being conceived to mark the 10 years of its professional photography service and to celebrate the same.

Just about anyone who can aim a camera can shoot people . It goes without saying that some do it better than others. Top portrait photographers do it all the time, reliably producing outstanding portraits with just about every subject they photograph. Why is that? What do they know and what do they do that makes their portraits special? The answer to both these questions is "quite a bit," because there is lots to know about a lot of things in order to produce a great portrait, said Mr. Anil. It is going to be our endeavour to come out with a photo exhibition every year on contemporary themes, informed Mr.Anil. Later, he would like to take out the Portrait Magic Show to various parts of twin cities.
