APIIC takes up roadwidening and parking at a cost
of Rs 1.5 crore near Hi-tech city railway
station to decongest the road and increase the
usability of MMTS. APIIC Chairman Visits Mindspace
Cyberabad among other Infotech Park Units near
Madhapur for acquaintance as well as review of
works
Hyderabad: The newly appointed Chairman of Andhra Pradesh
Industrial Infrastructure(APIIC) paid a maiden visit to Infotech Park Units here
at Cyberabad, in Madhapur recently. Part of his acquaintance visits,started
immediately on assuming charge.He inspected the joint venture project between K.
Raheja’ Corp and APIIC “Mindspace Hyderabad. APIIC has 11% stake in the
project.He was received at the venture by Mr. Neel Raheja,Director and Mr. B.
Ravinderanath, Head of Mindspace(Hyderabad).Accompanied by Dr. M.Venkatappa
Reddy, Director and Mr. Parthasarathy of APIIC, he went around the 110 acre
business ecosystem project of Mindspace Hyderabad and expressed happiness about
the progress it made.
Mr. Neel Raheja made a breif AV presentation for the perusal of the visiting
dignitary & appraised him of the progress made by them. Mr. Neel further
informed that Mindspace with twenty building blocks with a total built up space
of about 65 lakh sq. ft. area will provide employment to 70,000 people when
completed in the next 3/4 years. Adding further he told the Mr. Rambabu that
they were the biggest IT Space providers in the country.
In less than 17 months since it is opened, Mindspace Hyderabad has changed the
face of Madhapur added Mr.B. Ravindranath. The growing clients list has
translated to mega job opportunities and also attracted many highly qualified
professionals, he told.
Speaking immediately after witnessing the brief company presentation, Mr.
Rambabu informed that the corporation was embarked on 1.2 km road widening from
Cyber Tower to Soft Sol in Madhapur. This would be completed by the end of July,
he said. Further he added that road widening and parking works near Hi-tech city
railway station is already taken up to decongest the road. This was taken up in
association with Kukatpally, Sherlingampally and Municipal Corporation of
Hyderabad. This work is taken up at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore, for which Kukatpally
Municipality and Sherlingampally Municipalities have contributed Rs 28 lakh each
while MCH gave Rs 20 lakh.
The remaining balance is born by APIIC. Off this 1.5 crore, 75 lakh will be
spent on parking and another 75 lakh rupees on road widening, so that usability
of MMTS trains will go up, he informed. These works will be completed by the end
of May, 2005, he added.
Later the Chairman went around the properties developed by the Raheja Group and
proceeded to see
Financial District at Nanakram Guda where APIIC is developing internal
infrastructure such as Roads,Water, Sewerage in extent of 110 acre land to
accommodate financial, banks and insurance companies and other projects of the
APIIC located in around Madhapur area.
