organized the LIFE TIME ACHIVEMENT AWARDS FUNCTION to honor the
achievements of some of the city’s great luminaries for their contribution
in various fields over a life time. The function held at Khaja Mansion
Function Hall, Masab Tank, Hyderabad.
On the occasion Dr. Abid Hussain, Former Civil
Servant, Economist and Diplomat were the Chief
Guest and conferred the awards.

The Khan Bahadur Babukhan Foundation was established to
commemorate the memory of late Abdul Kareem Babukhan by his
heirs. It is a registered Charitable Trust. During the last 2
decades, the Foundation has been financially supporting in
running, several Schools, in the urban and rural areas,
benefiting several thousand deserving students.
The Foundation has financially supported, over these last many
years, welfare schemes run by other Organisations, particularly
for the poor and deserving, amongst, not only the Muslims, but
others as well. (1) a Scholarship Scheme, run by the Hyderabad
Zakat and Charitable Trust, targeting very poor, but meritorious
students, mainly from rural areas, studying in under-graduate,
professional and technical courses in A. P. During the past 15
years, the Zakat Trust, run by Mr. Ghiasuddin Babukhan, has
supported education of 2 lakh students, expending a total sum of
around Rs. 40 Crores.
