Hyderabad:A 17
year old renowned hacker, a consultant to Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI),
Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and several other defense organisations
are in city for a seven day tour. Hewill stay upto 24th April. Disclosing this
in a press note, Mr. Zaki Qureshey, Co-founder along with Ankit Fadia and CEO of city based E2 Labs,
and also an avid hacker himself with lot of international certificates and
experience, informed that during his seven day stay in city, Mr. Ankit Fadia
will address a select gatherings at IDRBT, ASCI, Vanenburg, GE Capital, Satyam,
TCS. CMC and BPRD and others on various subjects. He is also expected to meet
many police officials of the state.
Also during his stay Mr. Ankit Fadia along with Mr. Zaki Qureshey his co-founder
on the board of E2 Labs, will make an announcement to set up of a training
facility at Hyderabad in Ethical Hacking with an objective to protect the
Information Technology assets of our country through the use of education,
technology and experience. In an era when the world is networking online,
network protection is imperative. Along with the training facility, we will soon
be ready with the state-of-the-art Incidence Response Center to combat cyber
terrorism, informs Mr. Zaki Qureshey. The events of 9/11 raise fears in
everybody’s that terrorists might bring the Internet to its knees. I firmly
believe that not only the threat of a cyber attack real but the first phase is
already underway says Zaki Qureshey.
Mr. Ankit Fadia will also unveil the first of its kind online portal for booking
cyber crime related cases.
Brief Backgrounder on Ankit Fadia: Ankit is also an author of 2 books which are
international bestsellers. He wrote a book titled "Unofficial Guide to Ethical
Hacking" at the tender age of 14, and became the youngest ever author to be
published by Macmillan, in its 110 years of history. The book had sold 20,000
copies in India and 9,000 copies internationally within its first month.
Ankit Fadia has given consultancy on several occasions to both Indian and
International intelligence agencies, defense departments, Government
Organizations and Private companies.
Ankit delivered lectures, conducts seminars and gives presentations on various
topics relating to Computer Security. Till date Ankit has spoken at HACK 2002
(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), 52nd International Programme on Auditing Information
Technology (New Delhi, India), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Kharagpur,
India), Birla Institute of Technology (Pilani, India) and many more Educational
Institutes, Crime Investigation Agencies and Intelligence Agencies.
Ankit Fadia has been honored with a number of awards and felicitations,
including the prestigious: "Limca Book of Records: Person of the Year" Award.
And he has also been felicitated by Dr. A.P.J Kalam (President of India) for his
vast contribution in the field of computer security.
