Hyderabad:
India's third 3D I Max theatre has been opened for public on 23rd July.
Strategically located in the heart of the city on the banks of Hussain Sagar
Lake, Off NTR Gardens, Hyderabad is Prasad I Max ,a fully integrated Family
Entertainment Centre. The project is a part of the Buddha Purnima Project Area,
an initiative of, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department and is promoted by the LV
Prasad Group.
Spanning an area of 2,35,000 sq. ft, this centrally air conditioned facility is
a high-tech, integrated, one-stop facility, providing the people of Hyderabad a
unique and exciting experience, aimed at achieving ‘Customer Delight’.
The Imax theatre will
feature the world's most powerful film projector which beams on 29 Metres wide
and 21.93 metre high screen. Its got a six-channel sound system that puts out
12,000 watts of digital surround sound.
This facility houses South India’s first IMAX theatre. IMAX, a brand that is
recognized worldwide for high quality family entertainment, is the most vivid
and immersive film experience available. The Prasad IMAX theatre has a seating
capacity of 635 and every seat in this theatre is considered the best seat.
The facility also houses a state-of-the-art five screen Multiplex with a
combined capacity of 1800 seats. Equipped with the latest sound and projection
technology, the theatres will offer plush, comfortable and world-class ambience.
Hyderabad’s first Food Court will provide a sumptuous spread of multi-cuisine
food interspersed with fast food outlets, coffee bars etc., setting a new
benchmark in ‘Eatatainament’
The best domestic and international retailers will be spread over three floors
of approximately 70,000 sq.ft. of air-conditioned retail space summing up the
statement 'The Experience'
The Imax theatre comes from the L.V. Prasad Group that has long been associated
with entertainment through quality films which were box-office successes. These
films left a lasting impact on the industry and more so on the minds of the
people. Over the years, its focus has been to constantly innovative
and diversify into several aspects of film making, manifested in various
