ISB made part of
global incubation programme

The Hyderabad-based Indian School of Business is among seven management institutes across the world to be part of a global incubation programme to foster and implement information technology (IT) ideas
developed by some of the brightest graduate business students.
In a move that promises to launch a wave of e-business start-ups, the initiative launched by Sun Microsystems ,will allow students to turn their business plans into commercial enterprises while still at school.
The seven business schools chosen to take part of the 'unique' programme were identified by Sun as the "leaders" in their particular regions.
Based on recommendations from the faculty, Sun, which is a leading suppliers of IT to academia, will
select five business plans from each school. Participants will receive six months of free access to Sun incubation facility consisting of a complete business developing environment, located within their schools.
The business school in Hyderabad along with the school at Oxford University and five more business schools two in the US and one each in Italy. Singapore and China- will benefit from a hardware and software packages valued at $250,000 under Sun campus incubation programme.
