Wah Wah Hyderabad: India's biggest Mushaera held in the City



The biggest Mushaera( Poetic Convention) was held at the Exhibition grounds last Saturday with over 20,000 people attending the grand Silver jubilee Mushaera.
Since 1974,every year the Mushaera is being held in Hyderabad in memory of Shankarji, an eminent personality of Hyderabad who had dedicated his life to social work.
The wah wah's were quite resounding by the participation of some of the most popular names of Urdu poetry in the country like Munawwar Rana, Meraj Faizabadi and Shyama Singh Saba. The local poets who participated included Raees Akhtar, Aliuddin Naveed, Salahuddin Nayyar, Mumtar Mainaz and Ali Ahmed Jaleeli whose Shayari did lift up this one of its kind event of India.



High-Court goes Hi-tech


The Andhra Pradesh High Court has launched its Cause List giving complete details of the case which go to hearing on any given day on the Internet. 
The Chief Justice of A.P High Court, Mr.M.S. Liberhan, launched the list in Hyderabad. Various aspects of the cases such as the names of the judges conducting the hearings, lawyers arguing the cases, litigants who had filed them and the courts where the cases would come up for hearing would be made available at the click of a button.

The Andhra Pradesh High court is the sixth apex court in the country to have such a facility after the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, Gujarat High Court, Madhya Pradesh High Court and Karnataka High Court.


There will be no need for members of the legal fraternity as also the parties involved to run around the Courts. Nor will there be the need for cumbersome paperwork. Information about the next day's hearings will be made available a day in advance to enable them plan out their schedules.
