Following the decision of the Department of Culture, Government of India, all the 'AA' and 'A' category items have been
computerized. As a part of the project, the Salarjung Museum has released a compact
information on 22,000 artefacts. Governor C Rangarajan, who is also the chairman of Salarjung Museum Board, launched the compact disk at the
ceremony, at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday. With this, vital information on rare objects has been brought out in CD
form by all the four national museums of the country as per the recommendation of the
high power committee set up by the Government of India under the chairmanship of
S S Biawas.
