Hyderabad Doctor invited to participate in Int’l Conference on Cytopathology

This visit to help Mediciti early detection of Cancer Cervix among rural women in Medchal Mandal.

Hyderabad, May' 2004: City Doctor C. Ratnakar who is working as Head of Department of Pathology at Mediciti Institute of Medical Sciences is invited to participate in an International Conference on Mastering the Challenges of Cytopathology. Organised by Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions the four day conference will be held in USA from 12 to 15th May.

Dr. C. Ratnakar’s visit is part of the Mediciti’s prestigious collaborative project with Johns Hopkins, an Indo-US joint research project: Cervical Cancer Prevention by Multiple Practices in Rural Community in Andhra Pradesh. During his stay at Baltimore in USA, Dr. Ratnakar will also visit the Cytopathology Department of the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions.

According to Mediciti Hospital sources, Dr. Ratnakar’s visit to Johns Hopkins will be immensely benefit Mediciti Institute of Medical Sciences in early detection of Cancer Cervix among rural women in Medchal Mandal. His trip is being sponsored jointly by Mediciti Institute of Medical Sciences and Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions.
