She has obtained a total of 478 out of 500 with 92 in English, 95 in Economics, 97 in Commerce, 98 in Accounts and 96 in Business Mathematics.

She received the prestigious gold medal given to the state topper by The Association of ICSE and ISC Schools (Andhra Pradesh) on the 29th of August, 2001.Prof.F.D. Vakil, Professor, Political Science, Osmania University, the chief guest for the day awarded the gold medal.

She is very happy to get the medal and feels that such golden moments truely rekindle and fuel your interest to work with zeal and zest to emerge triumphant in all your future endeavours too.

She attributes her academic success to her parents and teachers who have given the ideal push and inspiration from the very beginning advocating consistent efforts as the essential ingredient for achieving any goal.

Her teachers, she says, have always guided her to prepare in the right direction and their exam-oriented teaching definitely needs a mention. She says that "scoring high is not a task, it is the effort to catch the concept and the interest with which the subject is taken up which finally reflect in the marks you get."

She is from the AEC (Accounts, Economics, Commerce and Business Mathematics) stream and her career plans for the future are concentrated in the realms of finance and management. She is currently pursuing the foundation course for the Chartered Accountancy program and also intends to take up Cost Accountancy and then do MBA.

Her pursuit of academic excellence has always been accompanied by the furtherance of her other interests, which have mostly been in the literary field. She also has many other laurels to her credit - she was awarded prizes for the best conduct and the best all rounder in the commerce stream and also the best in English and Accounts in St. Ann's High School. She was earlier the ICSE best all rounder in Gitanjali School where she studied till class ten obtaining 94.2% in the ICSE class ten examination.

Born of eminent management consultants, Mr. Vijayaraghavan and Ms. Hemalatha, she hopes she would be able to, at every step of life live up to expectations and with the support and encouragement of her parents and well wishers fulfill all her dreams and be triumphant at every sphere of life.
