Hyderabad born Ramana Venkata is the founder and chief technology officer at Stratify.He left home at 13 for boarding school at Nagarjunsagar Residential college.Venkata has completed approximately five years of Ph.D. research in Scientific Computing and Computational Mathematics at Stanford University, holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai.
At Strtify he is responsible for the original product and technology vision. He drives technology strategy and intellectual property creation at Stratify. He has extensive experience in research and development in client-centric data mining, knowledge management, visualization and relational databases. Most recently, Venkata served as a research scientist at Intel's MicroComputer Research Lab. His extensive contributions at Intel included work on the formulation and development of domain-specific data mining methodologies ranging from marketing analysis to e-grocers to CPU simulations.
Stratify is the emerging software leader in unstructured data management. The Stratify Discovery System automatically organizes information from internal and external documents into a logical hierarchy with an easy-to-navigate interface. By structuring previously difficult-to-organize information so it can be integrated with structured data, Stratify increases the value of existing corporate applications such as enterprise search solutions, CRM and SFA tools, content management software, lead generation tools, document systems and corporate portals.
Stratify software solutions provide information firepower for many types of industries, including biotechnology, financial services, government and professional
services. Strafiy employs around 75 employees at its Mountain View
office, California.
