American Biographical Institute confers
International
honour to Hyderabad’s renowned Hypnotist

Hyderabad, September : City’s
renowned hypnotherapist and a man who holds LIMCA Book of Records
for 36 hour non-stop scientific demonstration of Hypnotism, Dr. V.
Nagesh, 48, received American Biographical Institute’s Man of the
Year 2002 Award for his outstanding contribution in the field of
Hypnosis.
Dr. Nagesh had received a communication to this effect from Mr.
J.M Evans, President of American Biographical Institute (ABI),
informing him about the news. Dr. Evans informed that Institute’s
International Board decided on Dr. Nagesh’s nomination for his
overall accomplishments and contributions to the society. |
“Further he said ABI had the pleasure of reviewing the endeavours of men
around the world because of it’s list of recognised who’s who titles.
Dr. Nagesh has accepted the award but yet to send his consent. The exact
details of the presentation of the award are not yet known.
A doctorate in Hypnosis, Dr. V. Nagesh, had a formal training in
Hypnotism from United Sates of America. He is a well known
Hypnotherapist practicing it for the past 20 years in the city. In these
twenty years he helped, guided and treated approximately 3.6 lakh people
all over the country. He has more than 6500 Hypnotism Shows to his
credit. He is featured in LIMCA Book of Records for his marathon 36-hour
non-stop Scientific Demonstration of Hypnotism. He travelled length and
breadth of state giving demonstrations that witchcraft doesn’t exist. He
has also given demonstration in
counties which include US, Canada, West
Germany, England, France, Switzerland, Austria, Netherlands, Singapore,
Malaysia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Kuwait. He is also featured in America’s
Who’s Who.
He has been a visiting faculty to many institutions, colleges,
universities and staff training colleges not only in the state, but all
over the country and couple of countries abroad. Notable amongst them
are A.P. Police Academy, Osmania University, JNTU and others. Police
seek his help in crime investigation. He is a faculty at Central
Detective Training Center, Ramanthapur for a course "Hypnosis & Crime
Investigation". His talks on Hypnosis have been broadcast on All India
Radio and Doordarshan. His programme on Hypnotism and it’s daily use in
life has been
sponsored by the University Grants Commission on the National Network of
Doordarshan.
He has hypnotised many terrorists and elicited valuable information.
Many Central and State Intelligence Agencies solicited his help in this
regard. He has been a columnist.
He has won many awards, notable among them is Dr. Erickson Memorial
Award. He is the President of Indian Academy of Hypnosis and Secretary of All
India Hypnotists’ Association |
