Ramoji Film City
Ramoji Film City is possibly the largest comprehensive film studio complex in the world with over 2000 acres complex of studios, gardens, hotels, multistoried buildings and special structures of all kinds.

A producer or director can walk in with a script and walk out with canned film or television programme. The Film City gives a choice of numerous flexible locations, typically as well as spontaneous. Filmmaker can shoot in a picturesque Indian village, or recreate a street in Switzerland. Film maker can choreograph a song sequence in any of the gardens and later change the look of the Gardens/Fountains, the layout of the streets, the facades of the buildings in the streets, to give a totally different locale to suit the requirements so no one location will ever go out of style or suffer from repeated exposure. Located an hours drive from the airport of Hyderabad.

Snow World:
Snow World is the World’s Biggest and India’s 1st Snow Theme Park. Spread over 17,000 square feet area, on Lower Tank Bund Road, behind Indira Park, it is yet another landmark place in twin cities. The entry is priced at Rs 250/- for adults and Rs 200/- for children for one hour. It will be open to general public from from 9am to 9pm. People will be allowed in batches of one hour. Maximum of three hundred people are allowed in every batch.
All these snow wonders will be made possible by artificially producing snow using state of the art technology supplied by Woomera Snow Guns LTd., Australia. The snow thus produced almost match with that found in nature and doesn’t contain any harmful chemicals and substances. The Snow is produced using Mineral Water Quality water is harmless even if eaten. Special warm clothes, gloves and waterproof shoes will be provided to all the customers to protect them from extreme cold climate inside. A steaming hot soup will be served to all the visitors to acclimatize to the environment.
 

Kasu Brahmanda Reddy National Park
A nature park situated near Jubilee Hills, this park is ,mainly used by Joggers and Walkers from the nearby elite residential houses. It has now become a joggers paradise and its ambiance is seen to be believed. The park spread over an area of 350 acres of natural forest has more than 500 plant species,130 bird species,20 mammal species,20 reptile species and a large number of invertebrates.
Open from 6am to 8pm and from 4pm to 6pm.Entry fee is Rs 5/-.The annual membership is Rs 250/-.

Hyderabad Botanical Gardens:
This is the first Botanical Garden in Andhra Pradesh that is coming up in stages in Kotaguda Reserve Forest near the Hi-tech city, Madhapur. The garden spread over 120 acres of undulating land and when completed will have 19 sectors or 'Vanams'. The park also has large water bodies, rolling meadows, natural forests, rich grasslands and exquisite rock formations, providing a visitor an unforgettable experience

Durgam Cheruvu (Secret Lake)
Durgam Cheruvu(which was supposed to have supplied water for the Golconda fort in the past ) is situated close to Shilparamam Crafts Village and Hitech City, behind Jubilee Hills. AP Tourism organises boating in this lake.
The Durgam Cheruvu lake is spread over an area of 63 acre and is surrounded  by hills of the Deccan Plateau.
The lake is also available for film shooting Rs.75000.00 per day. Boats can also be hired for film shootings at Rs. 2500.00 per day for 4 seater pedal boat and Rs.3000.00 per day for water scooter. 

Mechanised Boat: (For 20 minutes trip) Adult: Rs. 20.00 Child: Rs.15.00 
Water Scooter: Rs 50.00 per trip 
Pedal Boat: (For 20 minutes trip) Rs. 20.00 per head 
Durgam Cheruvu is situated near High Tech city, Madhapur is 16 km from Hyderabad Railway Station on the Hyderabad - Bombay old Highway.

Lumbini Park
Lumbini Park is located at a distance of 3 km. from Hyderabad. It was developed by the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA) in 1994 and is spread over 4 acres of land adjacent to the Hussain Sagar Lake also popularly known as Tank Bund. The added attraction of this park unlike the other existing parks is that it has floral clock & musical fountains.
The highlight of Lumbini Park is the spectacular Musical dancing fountain with colorful lights. Every evening the show is held from 7.15 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Public Gardens: 
The Public Gardens are one of the largest gardens in the city. Its a very calm place to spend time with your family. Within it's premises are a number of important public buildings including the State Legislative Assembly, State Archaeological Museum, Jubilee Hall, Jawahar Bal Bhavan and Telugu Lalita Kala Thoranam, an open air theatre.

NTR Gardens
One of the most recent and glamorous attractions of Hyderabad, NTR gardens spread over 34 acres is absolutely unique with large scale use of fiberglass in the form of insects and fruits. The attractions are Machan Tree, Fruit restaurant, railway ride and lots more. Its worth visiting especially after the lights are on.

Sanjeevaiah Park: 
Sanjeevaiah Park is a major recreation centre located next to Hussain Sagar, at the end of Necklace Road, in Hyderabad. It is named after the former President of India, Mr. Neelam Sanjeev Reddy. It houses a rose garden, rock garden and a floral clock. Sanjeevaiah Park which was the favourite  destination for couples has now got the much needed face lift and is not attracting people of all ages.

Shilparamam
Shilparamam is an arts and crafts village showcasing the various art forms and handicrafts of various artists from all over the state. It is basically a centre stage of cultures, a melting pot of traditions and an endeavor to preserve the dying art forms. 

The topography of the land blends lush green expanses with typical Hyderabad rock structures and meanders through plains, hillocks and mini- valleys into a haven seemingly designed for a very rustic and rich rural appeal. Potential buyers can come and pick up objects of art directly from the artisans without having to deal with middlemen.

In its complete form, Shilparamam will have Crafts Museum, Cultural Museum, Art Gallery & Library, Multi-purpose Auditorium, Common Facility Workshops, Research & Design Center, Dormitory accommodation for participating or visiting persons and artists & Rest Houses.
Shilparamam is about 25 km from Hyderabad railway station and 31 km from Hyderabad bus station. Located at Madhapur, it is easily accessible by road, and well connected by public transport. 
 
Nehru Zoological Park
Spread over 300 acres and is one of largest zoo parks in Asia and has collection of a large number of Snakes. One can find other Animals and Reptiles too in this park. Open 9am to 5pm and closed every Monday. For details call 24477355.


Gandipet Lake
Located at a distance of 20 km. from Hyderabad, this lake is also called as Osman Sagar. It was constructed by Mir Osman Ali Khan, the VIIth Nizam of Hyderabad after the disastrous floods of 1908 by constructing a dam across river Musi. The lake was planned by Mokshagundam Visweswarayya for supplying water to the city of Hyderabad. The lake is spread over an area of 46 square kilometers. It has well laid out lush green gardens and a swimming pool. It is a very popular picnic spot for the city crowd. The Gandipet Lake is 20 km from Hyderabad railway station.

Shameerpet
About 24kms away from the city, towards the north of Secunderabad. This place has a deer park and a lake with cottages around the place. The cottages can be rented through APTDC.

Himayat Sagar
22 kms from the city, a small tank named after Nizam VII's eldest son, Himayat Ali Khan. The whole area is green and fresh during the rainy and winter season. A small stretch on the dam is a very romantic place for a hand-in-hand walk. Guest house facilities are available and can be booked through the APTTDC. call..3453036.

Indira Park
A recreation park for children, situated near lower Tank Bund. This park offers a Boat ride too. It has become a favorite destination for joggers. Presently the park is on a major renovation spree.
 

Mir Alam Tank
is a reservoir 16 kms away, this tank once used to be the city's water source. Now, it has only become a tourist attraction. Its a mile long bund formed by 21 arches.

The Alleygator
The Alleygator emerged as a favorite funcentre for the young as well as old people. The Alleygator has four lines of bowling alleys, six pool tables, and video games. The cafeteria serves tasty food, which makes the place a perfect entertainment centre. The smoke free and alcohol free environment of The Alleygator makes it a perfect place to enjoy the leisure time with the entire family. 

The Alleygator has true cosmic bowling alleys, which gives utmost pleasure to the players. The lights changes automatically, with a pleasant sound, and the system also displays the score. It also has ball wall facility for new comers, ladies and children. This facility helps new comers and ladies to score better. 

Runway9-Go Karting:
Its the happening place for go-karting. Situated on the medchal Road, Kompally about 9 kms from Paradise cross road. Entry fee is Rs 10/-.
Timings are from 3pm-11pm.

Ocean Park
