GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited is located approximately 22 kms from Hyderabad city on a 5,400 acre site.It will have an ultimate capacity of 50 million passengers per annum and is designed to handle New Large Aircrafts (NLA), including the Airbus A380. The modular design of the airport will allow incremental expansion of each area, without major rebuilding or operational disruption.

The Aero expresses is a very unique facility provided only here in Hyderabad in the country undertaken by Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Presently its operating 30 AERO EXPRESSs to and from the following 5 destinations 24X7 -

Begumpet (starts from Paryatak Bhavan)
Secunderabad (starts from Keys high school)
Charminar (City college)
Mehdipatanam (Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital)
HITEC City (Opposite Silparamam)

½ an hour between 3.30AM to 11.30AM
1 hour between 11.30AM to 3.30PM
½ an hour between 3.30PM to 11.30PM
1 hour between 11.30PM to 3.30AM

Bus fares are being changed from 00.00 hrs of 21.07.2008 to Rs.150 per passenger is being charged from Secunderabad, Paryatak & Hitec location and Rs.120 per passenger is being charged from Charminar & Mehdipatanam on these exclusive air-conditioned buses.

For the sake of speedy travel, safety and to comply with local rules the buses are nonstop in between the destinations. These services operated are well received by the passengers using the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport . Currently on an average about 3200 passengers are utilizing this facility to reach the airport and vice versa.

Car Rental Services
At Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, car rental services are provided by Avis, Hertz and Budget. They would provide the best service for the passengers arriving at the Airport .
Radio Taxis
Radio Taxi service at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is provided by leading service providers Meru and Easy cabs for the convenience of our customers. This is an air conditioned cab service with charges payable on the basis of meter reading at the end of the journey.
Only those taxis that have taken the license for operating Radio Taxi Service from the Government of Andhra Pradesh can operate this service in Hyderabad
Fare: Rs 15 per km, Minimum Rs 30 which include the first 2 Km traveled
Waiting charges @ Rs 1 per minute.
25% night surcharge is applicable between 2300hrs to 0500hrs
